This unique Vertical Filtration Station, the first of its kind in the world, is a device designed to filter many types of cooling and cutting fluids contaminated by mechanical particles such as abrasives from grinding processes, chips from machining, scale from forming, sludge from washing and quenching processes, etc.

The principle of this unique filtration is based on a drum with a stainless steel filter mesh, which is placed in the upper part of the tank of the filtration station. The impurities from the coolant and cutting fluid settle on the drum wall and gradually form a layer of sludge called the "filter cake" (FK). The clean fluid, free of impurities, flows into the clean tank.
The sludge released from the FK is gradually discharged into a waste container by a rake conveyor. The sludge recovery process is fully automatic.
The filtered liquid is collected in a clean tank from where it is pumped to the machine by a distribution pump. A standard 6-8 bar block pump can be supplemented with a 20 bar high pressure pump.
We manufacture units in two sizes:
- with a flow rate of 250l/min and a footprint of 700x1450, suitable for the usual flow rate of powerful CNC machine tools, grinding machines, etc.
- with a flow rate of 600l/min and a footprint of 900x2200, suitable for filtration of several machines as a central unit.
- For larger flow rates, the number of units can be multiplied.
- According to the requirements, we can supply automatic coolant refill system, fluid conditioning, storage tank, etc.
